Remembrance Ceilidh for Hamish

With our 2021 remembrance Ceilidh postponed due to Covid, we were finally able to host this event at Meldrum House on Friday 13th May. It was a fantastic evening, where a significant amount of money was raised for the charity. We were also able to announce a major milestone on the night, with over £250,000 of Warm Hugs being raised in just six years!9

The remembrance Ceilidh is a major fundraising event for the charity, and we would to thank a number of individuals who continue to make the night such a success…

Firstly, a huge thank you to Sarah Shearer and Amanda Murray for all their hard work and efforts in organising the event. It was 16 months later than planned, but that didn’t matter – it was an amazing night. Thank you both!

Secondly, a huge than you once again to Meldrum House for use of their beautiful ballroom and for their hospitality on the evening. Once again it was a wonderful evening at a stunning venue. To the bank, Hipflask ceilidh Band, thank you for joining us – we’ve had many wonderful comments about your music and we thank you for adding to the evening.

Finally, thank you to everyone who made the night truly amazing! To companies, businesses and people who donated raffle and auction prizes, to Iggy for the sweetie card and to Dean for some yummy shortbread! I’m sure everyone who was there will agree it was a wonderful evening. We’d like to thank everyone who bought raffle tickets and bid for our auction items. This all helped us raise a staggering £9,485.53 on the night!
